Akela Constructions was subcontracted by Ertech to construct a new amenities block and shade structure as part of the Gold Coast Waterways “Muriel Henchman Park Upgrade”, commencing January 2024.
The project was designed and built with the future in mind, with careful consideration given to the harsh marine environment. The result is a practical and attractive facility designed to stand the test of time while complementing the surrounding parkland.
The new amenities block incorporates modern facilities and finishes, providing a durable and functional addition to Muriel Henchman Park. The shade structure provides additional covered space for park users while blending into the overall design of the site.
